On Jan. 1, 2000 we blended two churches together with the vision and dream to help more people in our area. Our buildings were small and dated so we sold them, purchased new property on the highway between the two towns and built Phase #1. We moved into Phase #1 in April of 2006. After much hard work, many prayers and many miracles the dream was coming true. Not only the dream of the new building but the real dream of helping more people! Since that time our church has continued to grow and we are now needing to build Phase #2, or at least part of it.
Phase #2 consists of a larger lobby, two wings of class rooms and offices down each side as well as a kitchen/dining room off the back.
Our communities are experiencing a growth in the number of children in the area so we are prioritizing the building of a wing of classrooms first in Phase #2. We are currently collecting finances for this and are committed to building it without going into further debt. God has blessed us all along and we are so grateful for His blessings and all the hard work and sacrifices of the people who support the mission of The Life Center.
You can see the future building plans on the architectural drawings. We also plan on having a ball field behind the church in addition to our current playground and BMX bike pump track. Our thrift store, Loving Hands and More, will be relocated out here on the church grounds in the future too. All of that is in addition to the food bank which is already onsite and functioning well to feed families in our area.
